Matthew graduated with honours from the Registered Massage Therapy
program at Vancouver Career College in August 2025. He brings a
thoughtful, client-centered approach to massage therapy. He believes
that massage is more than just relaxation — it’s a way to reduce pain,
restore movement, and help you return to the life you want. He’s
dedicated to helping patients achieve lasting relief through care
that’s tailored to their goals.
Matthew’s style is collaborative: he works with you to identify the
true source of discomfort, then designs a treatment plan that supports
both immediate relief and long-term functional improvement. His
toolkit includes joint mobilizations, deep tissue and Swedish massage,
muscle energy techniques, neurological work, myofascial release, and
visceral fascial therapy.
He’s experienced in helping people with chronic pain, long‑standing
dysfunction, and injury, but he also welcomes anyone seeking better
wellness — whether you’re dealing with tension, recovering from
something, or just looking to feel better day-to-day.
Before becoming an RMT, he earned an Associate’s degree in Humanities
and studied English at Simon Fraser University. This gives him a
thoughtful, curious mindset and a passion for continuous growth, which
he brings into every session.
Outside of work, Matthew enjoys reading, writing, training in
jiu-jitsu, and playing games. He values time with friends and family,
and he’s always open to exploring new interests.
Matthew is always happy to welcome new and returning patients with
open, supportive hands and a positive attitude.

Yumi is an RMT with a strong preference for a hands-on, detailed approach. She believes that massage therapy can be beneficial for more than just physically feeling better after the treatment, and prioritizes the root cause of a condition or discomfort rather than just the symptoms.
Yumi aims to create a welcoming and safe treatment space for everybody, and believes that each patient should receive personalized care to address their specific goals and concerns. She hopes to achieve these goals with techniques such as myofascial release, swedish massage, trigger point therapy, neuromuscular techniques and joint mobilizations. She has experience in treating chronic dysfunction or injuries, as well as those looking to start their wellness journey. Her extended knowledge includes treating conditions such as frozen shoulder, postural dysfunction, muscle atrophy, scoliosis, and chronic headaches/migraines.
After working multiple jobs at a young age, she found that having a job that allows her to work together with patients to address their concerns felt the most fulfilling to her.
Outside of work, Yumi spends her time attempting to find the root cause of dysfunction in her track car. Whether in the garage or in the clinic, her desire for helping things move better is consistent.
Yumi looks forward to being able to further understand her patients to create personalized treatment plans, and to be a part of her patients’ wellness journeys, no matter where they are.
